Minna Custody Deaths: Atiku Visits IBB, Emirate Council, Donates ₦20m To Victims’ Families

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar visited Minna, Niger State, to condole with the Emir of Minna and the Minna Emirate Council over the deaths of 37 suspected artisanal miners in NSCDC custody. He also met with former military president Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and the families and survivors of the victims. Atiku announced a donation of ₦20 million to support the affected families, stating that Nigeria must invest in its young people and expand opportunities for legitimate livelihoods.
