Civil society organisations working on climate-related issues in Kaduna State have called for stronger collaboration with the government to address environmental challenges in the state. The stakeholders made the call during the Kaduna State Climate Parley, themed "Harmonising Interventions and Financing for COP31," which brought together CSOs to review ongoing climate interventions and identify gaps. Musa Suleiman, co-chair of the Civil Society Group on Climate Governance under the Kaduna State Climate Accountability Mechanism, said the meeting aimed to harmonise interventions and develop a united position ahead of COP31. Suleiman, who also works with Follow Taxes, Transparency and Accountability in Totality, Popularity and Uniformity, spoke at the parley.
