The Kenya Defence Forces is hosting a five-day seminar from 21 to 25 September 2026 on the induction and operationalisation of the Kenya Defence Forces Chaplaincy Support Doctrine. The seminar brings together Service Chaplains, Imams, staff officers and administration officers from KDF Formations to deepen their understanding of the doctrine and support its implementation. According to the KDF, chaplaincy support strengthens the spiritual and moral resilience of service personnel and their families, contributing to holistic welfare and readiness. Military readiness is described as extending beyond physical preparedness to include spiritual and moral resilience.
