Yahya Rahim Safavi, an adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader, warned that Tehran may expand the Middle East conflict to the Indian Ocean if the United States launches another attack. In a video released by Iran's Fars news agency, Safavi said the war front could reach the Indian Ocean and beyond in response to further aggression. The warning comes as Yemen's Houthis, supported by Iran, have taken control of parts of the Red Sea coastline, strengthening their hold on the Bab al-Mandab Strait. Iran has denied direct involvement in the Yemen conflict but has long provided military support to the Houthis.
