Nigeria and Italy have strengthened collaboration to implement the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) financing campaign, which aims to mobilize $5 billion for education worldwide. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu said the GPE vision aligns with Nigeria's agenda to improve educational outcomes through access and teacher capacity building. The announcement was made during the Multiply Possibility High-level event on the margins of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York.
