Quality Education Development Associates (QEDA) concluded an eight-week pilot of 'Mama Maths', an AI-powered Mathematics learning platform, to help teachers identify pupils' learning gaps and provide targeted support. The pilot, under QEDA's Numeracy Enhancement, Research and Development (NERD) project, was conducted in six Nigerian schools with grade two pupils. Implemented in partnership with Ebase Africa from March to August 2026, it involved three intervention and three control schools across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas. The initiative aims to improve numeracy outcomes through technology-supported teaching and remediation.
