Meta has unveiled a new version of its virtual reality glasses at its annual developers conference, Meta Connect. The glasses, which go on sale next spring, weigh 100 grams and cost $1,300, making them lighter and cheaper than Apple's Vision Pro. The device is connected to a battery puck and represents Meta's continued push to make virtual reality more mainstream. The company's goal is to reduce reliance on smartphones.
