The City Boy Movement, a support group campaigning for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election in 2027, held a town hall meeting in Awka, Anambra State, to mobilize support for the President's second-term bid. The event took place at the Prof. Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre, where speakers emphasized the benefits of maintaining a strong relationship between Anambra and the Federal Government. The Secretary to the Anambra State Government, Mrs Chiamaka Nnake, delivered a keynote address on the theme 'Can Anambra Afford to Be Disconnected from the Centre?' The meeting followed a similar grassroots mobilization by another pro-Tinubu group, Relax Tinubu is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), about a month earlier.
