The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has pledged not to shield any personnel implicated in the deaths of miners and other suspects in Niger State. Commandant General Ahmed Audi made this commitment during a condolence visit to the Emir of Minna and the families of the deceased and a survivor. NSCDC spokesperson Babawale Afolabi stated that the visit was to commiserate with the affected families. Audi emphasized that justice and transparency will guide the ongoing investigation.
