Poor infrastructure, weak cold chain threaten artisanal fishing — Oyetola

Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola, has identified poor infrastructure, inadequate cold-chain facilities, and limited access to modern fishing technology as major challenges threatening Nigeria's artisanal fisheries sector. He also noted inadequate processing and storage facilities, as well as poor market access, as constraints. Oyetola spoke when he received a delegation of Turkish fishing investors from CRD Impex in his office.
