Prof. Tunji Olaopa, Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), has called for a fundamental review of the legal framework governing Nigerian universities. He made the call on Thursday in Abuja while speaking as chairman of an event. Olaopa said the review would grant institutions greater operational and academic autonomy and enable them to explore innovative funding mechanisms. He emphasized the need for creative funding of education.
