The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has reported that Lagos State generated N1.77 trillion in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) in 2025. This amount is more than the combined N909.35 billion generated by 22 other states. The NBS data highlights Lagos State's significant revenue generation capacity compared to other states.
