Retirement security begins on the job, not at retirement — Faleye

Oluwaseun Faleye, Managing Director of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), emphasized that retirement security must be built during one's working life, not at retirement. He spoke at the 2026 National Pre-Retirement Summit in Abuja. Faleye noted that NSITF now covers 7.8 million workers and has reduced claim processing time to 10 days.
