The Lagos State Government has intensified efforts to restore compliance, safety, and orderly operations in the trucking business, particularly along major maritime corridors. The Lagos State Truck and Cargo Operators Committee (LASTCOC) urged stakeholders to cooperate with the measures. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Olawale Musa, highlighted concerns over traffic congestion, accidents, and loss of lives.
