Meta has launched a camera-free version of its Ray-Ban smart glasses, called Meta Ray-Ban Audio, which allow users to listen to music, make calls, and interact with the Muse AI agent. CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the audio-only glasses were not a response to controversy over camera-equipped versions but had been in development for a long time. He made the announcement at the company's Connect 2026 conference.
