Eyitayo Jegede, a former governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State, has formally joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC). The defection took place on Thursday. Jegede was the PDP's candidate in the 2020 Ondo State governorship election. The move comes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
