Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to reject President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in the 2027 general elections, citing unbearable hardship. Atiku spoke on Thursday in Akure, Ondo State, during the official reception for former PDP governorship candidate Eyitayo Jegede, who joined the ADC with his supporters. Atiku accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration of failing to deliver the dividends of democracy and promised to restore subsidy and security if elected. Also, former Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola said the ADC will take over power.
