The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested four suspects over an alleged plot to abduct and kill a man after collecting ransom, as well as two others in connection with the suspected cult-related killing of a 26-year-old man in Lafia. The command's Public Relations Officer, Rahman Nasel, disclosed this in a statement issued in Lafia on Thursday. According to the statement, operatives of the State Intelligence Department (SID), Lafia, received credible intelligence about an alleged criminal conspiracy and planned abduction, prompting discreet investigations. The investigation led to the arrest of four suspects identified as Yahaya Musa, Likita Adamu, Riga Abdullahi and Saidu Alhaji Gari, all residents of Adudu District, Obi Local Government Area of the state. The police said preliminary investigation indicated that the suspects had allegedly planned to abduct one Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi, also known as Alhaji Na'iye.
