UNICEF, EU launch accelerated basic education programme in Jigawa targeting out-of-school youth

UNICEF and the European Union have launched an accelerated basic education programme in Jigawa State targeting out-of-school youth. The initiative will cover 135 learning centres across 10 local government areas. It aims to address 'learning denied' and 'learning delayed' for overaged and out-of-school children aged 10 to 18. The programme seeks to provide educational opportunities for vulnerable youth.
