Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima has called on Nigerians in the diaspora, particularly those in the United States, to support President Bola Tinubu's administration in its efforts to transform the country's economic fortunes. He said the administration was working to reposition the economy, especially in education, health, science and technology, and agriculture. Shettima described the diaspora community as the greatest resource of the future and said the government would leverage their intellect. He made the call during an interactive session with the Nigerian diaspora community at the Nigeria House in New York.
