Eritrean nationals in Australia and New Zealand celebrated the Golden Jubilee of the establishment of the Revolution School with various programmes. The event, organised with former students of the school and the Eritrean community in Victoria, was held in Melbourne on 19 September and featured a photo exhibition on the school's history as well as cultural and artistic presentations. Eritrea's Consul General in Australia, Mr. Indrias Abraham, said the EPLF's decision to establish the school in 1976 reflected its farsighted vision. Mr. Petros Hailemariam, a founder of the school, addressed the gathering virtually and briefed attendees on the victories and challenges of the past 50 years.
