Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals has launched an initial public offering (IPO) allowing Nigerians to invest with a minimum subscription of N5,250. The company is offering 4.1 billion ordinary shares at N525 each, valued at about N2.15 trillion if fully subscribed. The offer opened on September 14 and is scheduled to close on October 13. FCMB Group CEO Ladi Balogun said the offer provides Nigerians access to a world-scale business and demonstrates the growing reach of the capital market.
