Positive Sentiments Continued to Dominate as Stock Market Gains N622bn

Positive sentiments continued to dominate the Nigerian stock market as gains in 28 stocks lifted the market capitalization by N622 billion. The Nigerian Exchange Limited All-Share Index rose by 0.38 per cent to close at 252,150.01 basis points. The overall market capitalization value gained N622 billion to close at N163.679 trillion. The market performance was driven by price appreciation in large and medium capitalized stocks such as Seplat Energy, NAHCO, NASCON Allied Industries, Fidson Healthcare, and The Initiates Plc.
