2027: Tinubu Must Go, Atiku Declares, Woos Ondo Voters as Jegede Joins the ADC

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, declared in Akure, Ondo State, that President Bola Tinubu must leave office in the 2027 general election, accusing the administration of worsening hardship. He made the declaration while welcoming former PDP governorship candidate Eyitayo Jegede, SAN, and his supporters into the ADC. Atiku said the ADC is committed to providing an alternative government to address insecurity, economic hardship, and other national challenges. The APC responded that the 2027 polls present another opportunity to prevent Nigeria from Atiku's 'ravenous plunder.'
