Atiku Donates ₦20m to Families of Minna Custody Death Victims, NSCDC CG Visits 

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, visited Minna, Niger State, where he condoled with the Emir of Minna, Alhaji (Dr.) Umar Farouk Bahago, and former military president General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd.). He also met with families and survivors of the recent deaths of 37 suspected artisanal miners in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps. During the meeting, Atiku announced a donation of N20 million to support those who lost loved ones. He said Nigeria cannot secure its future without investing in young people and expanding opportunities for legitimate livelihoods.
