Delta oil host communities under the OML 30 Flow Stations Presidents-General Forum have issued a two-week ultimatum to Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL). The forum demands prompt payment to indigenous contractors, engagement of qualified residents, implementation of scholarship programmes, and execution of Host Communities Development Trust (HCDT) projects. They also seek more involvement of competent indigenous contractors in OML 30 projects and employment opportunities for qualified graduates.
