Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno has praised citizens for their support in developing the state as it celebrates its 39th anniversary. In a state broadcast, Eno honoured past leaders, traditional institutions, workers, farmers, teachers, the clergy, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders for their contributions to the state's progress. He stated that the ARISE Agenda is a covenant of service and noted that since May 29, 2023, his administration has undertaken, commissioned, or continued work on over 1,500 kilometres of roads, including 43 bridges.
