Veteran Nollywood actress Obey Etok-Chima marked her 50th birthday on June 30 quietly while still grieving the loss of both her husband and father in the same year. In an emotional interview, the Theatre Arts graduate discussed her struggles with grief, loneliness, motherhood, and her enduring passion for acting. She stated that without movies, she does not know how she would have coped, as working on set provides a much-needed distraction. Etok-Chima also commented on the changing face of Nollywood and declared herself an ardent fan of football superstar Lionel Messi.
