3 reasons investors should be ready for the bond market sell-off to worsen

BNP Paribas warns that long-term bond yields will continue to surge, predicting 30-year Treasury yields hitting 5.6% in the months ahead. As of Thursday afternoon, yields sat at 5.43%, up from 4.83% at the start of the year. Rising yields are attributed to increasing oil prices, inflation concerns, ballooning government debt, and elevated borrowing demand.
