A Kano Shari'a Court sitting at Kofar Kudu has remanded three men in a correctional centre over an alleged conspiracy to murder Kano social media commentator Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu. The court ordered the remand of Aliyu Adamu, Salihu Haruna and Sani Muhammad until November 17, 2026. The defendants were arraigned before Justice Ibrahim Sarki Yola on allegations of conspiracy and culpable homicide. They were accused of invading the residence of the victim in Gaida Quarters of Kumbotso LGA at about 11pm on September 8, 2026, where they allegedly killed him by slitting his throat. The three defendants pleaded not guilty to all charges.
