Jet Attorneys has disowned an alleged petition to the House Committee on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seeking intervention in a family dispute involving the estate of late Engr. Dr. Tanko Baba Abdullahi. The disclaimer, signed by C. Ogalagu Esq., followed a report alleging that persons involved in the court-supervised administration of the estate had become subjects of an EFCC investigation. The report was purportedly written on behalf of the 'concerned sons and daughters of Late Engr. Dr. Tanko Baba Abdullahi' and raised concerns over the safety of participants and the fate of transactions conducted under the court's authority. At the centre of the alleged complaint was Abdullahi, one of the heirs and an officer of the EFCC.
