According to The Athletic, the verdict was communicated to Premier League clubs after Thursday's meeting. The sanctions have not yet been determined, meaning the club could face a range of possible punishments, and City are expected to appeal the verdict. A Manchester City spokesperson said the Premier League process remains ongoing with significant elements to be completed and subject to strict confidentiality, adding that the club's position remained consistent with its February 2023 statement.
