The Lagos State Electricity Regulatory Commission (LASERC) has deepened collaboration with Elektron Energy on the 40MW Victoria Island Power Project. This follows an official visit to the plant after LASERC issued an electricity generation licence to Elektron Energy. The project, developed in partnership with Eko Power, aims to deliver dedicated electricity to businesses in Victoria Island and is scheduled to commence commercial operation in December 2026.
