Sheila Vashee, a key Figma executive, is joining the rapidly growing artificial intelligence inference startup Baseten. Vashee spent three years at the design software firm as chief marketing officer before leaving this summer amid an executive shakeup that also saw the departure of the chief product officer. Her exit helped send Figma's stock down in August.
