In an opinion piece, Omoyele Sowore responds to an article by Paul C. Nwabuikwu, a longtime communications aide to Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, that questioned why Nigerians do not take Sowore's presidential candidacy seriously. Sowore argues that Nwabuikwu's history as a special adviser to Okonjo-Iweala, whom he describes as a Bretton Woods lackey, undermines Nwabuikwu's impartiality. Sowore also claims that Okonjo-Iweala dislikes him and wrote a book containing lies about him after he challenged her during her tenure as Nigeria's Minister of Finance.
