Neko Health, a startup co-founded by Spotify's Daniel Ek, has opened its first US location in New York City's SoHo neighborhood. The service offers a full-body scan that checks the heart, skin, and body shape in under an hour for an out-of-pocket cost of $499, with no insurance accepted. There is already a waitlist of 25,000 people, and a second location is planned for Miami this fall. A Business Insider reporter who tried the scan noted its benefits but said it is not significantly different from a typical annual physical.
