The African Development Bank Group, in partnership with the UNDP AI Hub for Sustainable Development, Google, and Apolitical, has launched a free training programme for African public officials on artificial intelligence. The initiative, announced on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, aims to help officials understand and use AI in their work. Under Apolitical's Government AI Campus, participants will access courses such as AI Fundamentals for Public Servants, AI Leadership in Government, and Smarter Procurement with AI. The trainings were developed by Stanford University Online and SDA Bocconi School of Management, with Google and Apolitical providing the learning platform and content.
