Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has launched an Artificial Intelligence-powered digital system for personnel administration, retirement and pension processes in the state civil service. The system, named "Ondo AI," is a Digital Human Resource Management System intended to provide the government with current personnel information and aid decision-making regarding the workforce. At the launch, held at the Cocoa Conference Hall in Akure, Aiyedatiwa stated that the initiative is part of efforts to transition the state public service from manual to digital administration. He noted that a 21st-century public service cannot continue with analogue systems and emphasized the need for accurate and timely information for effective administration.
