Former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, has alleged that former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, is coordinating a seven-man group to unseat President Bola Tinubu in 2027. Galadima made the claim in an interview, stating that technically and legally, other opposition parties cannot produce a single candidate on the ballot to face Tinubu. He said, "Technically, legally, other opposition parties cannot produce one single candidate on the ballot to face Tinubu. We have passed that stage." The allegation comes amid political maneuvering ahead of the 2027 general elections.
