A woman who accused Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 has stated in a court filing that she made false accusations and never met the rapper. The woman had claimed Jay-Z and Sean "Diddy" Combs assaulted her after the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2000. Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, had dismissed the allegation as a "fictional tale," and the woman dropped her civil lawsuit in 2025. In the latest filing, she said there is no truth to her claims and that her false accusations caused Jay-Z immense pain and damage.
