A prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and businessman, Alhaji Ahmad Mai Bulawus, has defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State. He declared support for Governor Ahmed Aliyu. The defection is seen as a boost for the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections. The move was reported by Tribune Online.
