Startups like Fal and Fireworks AI, which provide access to AI models and servers, are experiencing increased sales as developers use their services to run models quickly. This surge in demand has attracted investor interest. Fal, which offers inference services for video and image generation models such as Google's Nano Banana, has held early talks with investors about raising new funding at a $15 billion valuation, according to two people familiar with the discussions. A third person said the company could aim for a higher valuation of $17 billion to $20 billion.
