Ron Johnson, Apple's former head of retail, shared lessons from working with Steve Jobs for over a decade during a live Q&A with Business Insider. Johnson, who oversaw the creation of 350 Apple stores, said Jobs taught him to be present and not rush. He noted that Jobs took his time building a vision and was patient in rolling out new products. Johnson stayed at Apple until Jobs' death in 2011 and discussed these insights in his new book, "Shop Different: How Retail Revealed Apple's Genius."
