Moses Simon became the fifth Super Eagles player to reach 100 international caps. He achieved the milestone when he came on as a substitute in the 61st minute of Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar. Simon made his senior debut in 2015 at age 19 and has since been a consistent presence for the national team. He was presented with a commemorative jersey before the match.
