Peter Obi and Dele Momodu have renewed their calls for the release of former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, who has been in the custody of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) since February. The two public figures condemned the prolonged detention, urging authorities to respect El-Rufai's rights. The ICPC has not publicly commented on the matter.
