The Rivers State House of Assembly has ordered the arrest of the Vice-Chancellor of PAMO University. The order was issued after the VC failed to appear before the Assembly to answer questions regarding a probe into N29 billion in state scholarship funds. The Assembly is investigating the disbursement and management of the scholarship funds. The VC's failure to honour the summons prompted the legislative body to take the drastic step.
