The Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria has called on the federal government to approve the Pharmacy First Initiative to transform the health system. In a statement signed by National Chairman Ambrose Ezeh and National Secretary Obiageri Ikwu, the ACPN described the initiative as a strategic pathway to expanding Universal Health Coverage. The association urged investment in community pharmacy services to make them primary healthcare hubs.
