The League of Imams and Alfas in Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta has disowned the unauthorised conferment of Islamic chieftaincy titles by fraudulent groups. The organisation made this known in a statement, warning the public against such titles. The league emphasised that it is the only body authorised to confer Islamic titles in the region.
