Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation founded in 1976, held its 50th anniversary celebration at Dover Hotel, Ikeja. The event was attended by traditional rulers, political leaders, business captains, and cultural icons, including Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, former Anambra State Governor Mr. Peter Obi, and Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe. The highlight of the convergence was the unveiling of a 602-page book titled 'Ohanaeze'. The organisation chose intellectual engagement and sober reflection over the usual drums and dances for its golden jubilee.
