NDC warns chairmen against support group fees

The National Leadership of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has warned state chairmen and other party officials against demanding registration fees from support groups, stating that the registration process is free. The party said any official found violating this directive would face disciplinary action according to its constitution. In a statement by National Publicity Secretary Osa Director, the NDC said it received reports that some state chairmen were allegedly demanding payments from support groups. The party emphasized that registration of support groups is handled exclusively by its Directorate of Support Groups at the national headquarters in Abuja and does not attract any fee.
